- Time of past OR future Camino

I'm only at the research stage and have been reading heaps of reviews about backpacks. The Aarn packs have really captured my imagination and there are lots of good comments here. I have a trip to Melbourne coming up so was planning to hit the outdoors shops and try out everything. I live in the Nt which is one of the more remote and underpopulated parts of Australia. I was pleasantly surprised to see that there was a local supplier. So I toddled off there on Friday night to get an idea of pack sizes. They only had a couple of models but boy are they comfy. I bumped into an old work colleague Richard who is now in a different department and we started chatting. He has an Aarn and loves it.
On Sunday my neighbour had a birthday potluck dinner and Richard was there. Didn't even know that Henry and Shirley knew him. I didn't get a chance to talk to Henry much but at the end of the night he bailed me up asking me if I was interested in the Aarns (now only one person there knew about my Aarn obsession) and said if I wanted to borrow a pack at any time I could borrow one of theirs as they have SIX of them of varying sizes.
Didn't realise that the Camino would provide this early on!
