Taxi Pamplona to SJPP

...and ship it to Santiago for storage. You pick it up once in Santiago. Service offered by Casa Ivar (we use DHL for transportation).
In October 2005 it cost about 95 euros and took less than 1 hour and it was one wild ride! The Spanish taxi driver had apparently done it so many times he probably could have done it blindfolded and took most of the turns on two wheels (or so it felt like it from the back seat)on that windy, twisty road through the mountains and I was considerably more than just a little relieved (as well as being half car-sick & nauseous) when he finally deposited me in front of a kiosk in downtown St jean. When I got off the train in Pamplona I looked around for other pilgrims to share the ride and cost but since I was the only one that morning shouldering a pack I went alone. The pilgrim office, when I finally found it in St. Jean, was closed for the lunch break so I had to wait for it to open. I commenced to take the first of what was to become many little such breaks in the next month and a half, sitting and waiting peacefully along some cobblestone road with my back propped up against a building and my pack lying beside me.
