Today, while on holiday from Australia, we (partner and I)are in Pitlochry, a town in Central Scotland, in transit for a rest day. Strolling along the main street 2 hikers were in front of us, one with a Camino Francis cloth badge on his pack so I bailed him up with Buen Camino and after he realised I wasn't assaulting him he was more than happy to chat. Listed are the crucial points of our discussion:
He was on the Camino Aug-Sept last year, as we were.
His first opportunity to share his feelings with someone who understands, very emotionally.
His name is Dennis (a Scot). My name is Dennis (Aussie/Irish). We were all at one with each other.
Moral of the story: If you see a Camino badge anywhere in your travels, bail them up!
