Just tried it - together with Pimentos de Padron - and its the real deal! Tapas Bodega in Turramurra.

But not cheap. Although much cheaper than an airfare.

Also Tarta de Santiago, very good croquetas - all the usual favourites.

I would have put this in Ivar's app, but can't find a way of adding a place.

I love the food in Galicia. Pulpo, Caldo Gallego, Pimientos de Padron, Empanada, Tarta de Santiago they are all a great experience!

A few years ago a "Spanish" resto in Port Macquarie had pulpo a la Gallega on the menu. I had to try it. It bore no resemblance to Pulpo at all and I told the owner this. He frowned. I then told him that to my taste it was better than Pulpo de Gallego. He smiled. The Crianza was very good too.
