Hello everyone

Has anyone had additional luggage which you are not using on the Camino transported from SJPD to Santiago.
Who would you recommend and how much would it cost approximately.

Cheers
Tony

3rd Edition. More content, training & pack guides avoid common mistakes, bed bugs etc
...and ship it to Santiago for storage. You pick it up once in Santiago. Service offered by Casa Ivar (we use DHL for transportation).
I can only say from Burgos. We sent just under 7 kg to Santiago at a cost of €26. The first 15 days storage is free and 1€ per day thereafter. We paid for 5 days as the office is closed over the weekend

I used Express Bourricot, and it couldn't have been easier. A little spendy at 70 euros, but that includes storage at Hostal LaSalle for as long as it takes you to get to Santiago, plus a discount on a room there.

If you use them, all that you need to do is go to their office in SJPDP, pay them, get a tag for your suitcase, then leave your suitcase with the tag in the morning. They pick up from many gites/hotels, so I just had to leave my suitcase downstairs at Beilari where I stayed.

It was so nice to have a change of clothes after in Santiago after 5 weeks of wearing the same two outifts!

Hi Anemone Thanks for your help, after viewing their sight I will be using Express Bourricot. Cheers Tony

Hi Trecile. Thanks for your help, the price hasn’t changed it’s still 70 euros seems like an easy option. Cheers Tony
