Starting at Sarria. How to get there from San Sebastian + Bi

Hello, my partner and I are intending to do the last section of the Camino de Santiago, starting on 21 September. We are currently in Spain and wondering the best place to start the Camino if we only have approx one week - should we start at Sarria? Any other suggestions?

If so, what is the best way to get there from a) San Sebastian and b) from the airport in Bilbao?

Is it possible to stay in a pilgrim´s hostel if we arrive quite late in the evening, or will they already be full and should we book a room in a hotel?

Any help will be very gratefully received!!!

Sarria is a choice if you have a week. There will be a good number of pilgrims walking the Camino Frances then. Another choice would be the Camino Ingles from Ferrol - just get a bus there from Santiago. Downlaod a free guide here:
