Starting at Saint-Chely-d'Aubrac?

Figeac-Cahors 2015
Hi all. I have about 6 days walking time in France later this year. I was looking at a section of the GR65 roughly from Saint-Chely-d'Aubrac (or thereabouts) to Figeac.
My question is how do I get to Saint-Chely-d'Aubrac (or thereabouts) from Paris? I'd be getting the train to as close as possible. I'm familiar with SNCF, and don't see it on a train line. Is there a bus service? or does it need to be a taxi from somewhere like Aumont-Aubrac or Rodez? or are there any of the services like La /Malle Postal that go through there?
Grateful for any local knowledge.

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

How about: train from Paris to Aumont-Aubrac, walk to Conques, taxi or bus out of Conques to train connection at Figeac or Rodez?

...and ship it to Santiago for storage. You pick it up once in Santiago. Service offered by Casa Ivar (we use DHL for transportation).

Hi there, I'm considering walking from Le Puy to St. Jean next spring if I can get my French up to par. I'm looking on advice on a few things: - Would it be too cool and rainy to start walking...
