start in Leon or Burgos for 17 days to Santiago?

Hi.
We are a Canadian couple with 17 days available in September to get from "Point A" to Santiago. Where is a reasonable place to start with the goal of getting to Santiago within 17 days? We were thinking of Burgos or Leon, but what is the best choices given we go at a reasonable pace and allow a day or 2 for unforeseen halts in our progress?

Thanks.

Perfect memento/gift in a presentation box. Engraving available, 25 character max.
Leon without a doubt if you want to take some days rest. You could also go to Burgos, visit the city, take a bus or train to Leon and then walk to Santiago. I think Burgos is the nicest city on the Camino Francès.

Remember that on days 1 and 2 you will somewhat be affected by jetlag, you need to take it easy a bit.
