Though I've mentioned this elsewhere, I wanted to give a special "shout out" for the SOS pilgrim phone that the Via Lusitana (Lisbon's pilgrim organization) operates.

If you're walking in Portugal, you can call this number any day of the week: 915-595-213

The phone is manned by dedicated volunteers, and they can help you in English, French, German, Spanish, and maybe a language or two I'm forgetting.

It's an amazing service provided by an amazing group of people! Laurie

Laurie, this is great info to have. Thanks I have sent it along to a few people who are walking Portugal this year but are not on the Forum.
