Le Puy - Camino Frances - Finisterra
Bonjour, Ola, Gutentaag, Hello all!

I`ll be finding my way to Le Puy in the next few weeks and looking to walk to SJPDP then off to Santiago and then on to Muxia. Wondering who else here will be wandering solo between June 10th and onward. Start date is up in the air as I`m gong to surprise my folks first living in Rome. Tickets from B.C. are not cheap!

Hope everyone is excited for a great summer

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
I'm setting off from Le Puy on the 10th June. Im flying in form Detroit/Toronto /Munich/Lyon on the 9th and setting off the following morning. Ive given myself 30 days to get to SJPDP as I have ro be in the UK soon afterwards.

As North American, you can only be in the Schengen visa area for 90 days on a tourist visa. So unless you have some other arrangement, careful with your calendar!

Get a spanish phone number with Airalo. eSim, so no physical SIM card. Easy to use app to add more funds if needed.
This will all be done in 90 days. I'll scoot up to Ireland if I run out of time and do some hiking up there.

Gavin! Might see you on the route! Here's hoping

They'll be a load of solo persons. Don't give yourself targets, goals, expectation, just do what you can as you can. Have fun on Le Puy Chemin. Once you arrive in Conques you'll either love or loath the experience so far.

Hello there Futurefjp, please elaborate on what's to love or loath on Conques or the Le Puy experience. I've yet to do this walk. Thanks.

All I mean is how you are? Mentally after those couple of weeks into the Le Puy Chemin. Some days are amazing, some days are hard. In Conques I had suffered the weather of the Aubrac and the boredom of Decazeville. Up and down. Mostly the experience changed my life.

Gavin, I will be looking for you on the trail. Just booked my ticket arriving into Paris on the 5th of June, likely getting down to Le Puy for the 7th and starting the 8th. Buen Camino, see you out there!

Hi there, I'm considering walking from Le Puy to St. Jean next spring if I can get my French up to par. I'm looking on advice on a few things: - Would it be too cool and rainy to start walking...
