Think its promised nice next weekI'll be arriving in Burgos in less than a week. Looks like I won't be wear wearing my sandals.
I hope the weather breaks soon. For your sake, and for all those walking right now, as much as for my own. Buen Camino.
Yes, it looks quite promising for next week, maybe even sandals weather. BTW, it's 2 degrees right now again in Burgos (evening) but it was 7 degrees (45 degrees Fahrenheit) during the afternoon ...Think its promised nice next week
Same here in Minnesota (Twin Cities). The ground is still snow covered and more snow is forecast for the weekend. Ugh!Well, still warmer than where I live right now. But not snowing here at the moment in northern Alberta. Spring is being as stubborn here as it is in Spain this year!

I know! It was tough just before St Juan de Ortega but we managedHola, nice is a very arbitary term. Yes maybe not snowing, but the snow in the Pyrenses, around Atapuerca and west in Galacia will still be around. Please stay safe, no risks!

I’ll bet that smells lovely!Perhaps as recompense, the albergue A Reboleira is absolutely stunning. They've even got little plastic pipes blowing warm air into our gore-tex but absolutely sodden boots.
Where are you in East Anglia, Stephen? I spent some time there some years back--particularly Wethersfield!I can't really "like" that message, Dave. I think I'll stick to the UK for the moment - in East Anglia we have sunshine and 15 degrees! However .....
.... Buen camino, amigo! and get out the sledge!
I live about 4 miles north of Woodbridge, ten miles from Ipswich, Laurie! Apologies for delay - just back from the Holy Land. S.Where are you in East Anglia, Stephen? I spent some time there some years back--particularly Wethersfield!
