Heard from a friend who is walking the camino Frances that they had snow and rain when leaving Pamplona - and a lot of mud climbing to the Alto del Perdon.
Keep warm all you pilgrims leaving soon. Consider wearing ankle gaiters to keep your socks and top of your boots dry.

i check the weather heavy snow in stjpdp today till jeudi :shock:
then rain for a few days :cry: i hope by the time i get there will be nice and sunny :S i dont wanna see anymore snow go 4 feet here in last 3 weeks

I just saw the weather report on TVE and they could report of:

Rain, rain and rain

... until at least Thursday in all of northern Spain (snow crystals was shown in the mountainous areas all across northern Spain. My guess above about 1000meters, although nothing was said).

In Santiago it has also started to rain, although not too much. I guess this is ok, after almost a week of temperatures in the 20s (c) and very sunny weather.
