Sleepingbag, mat, liner or?

Time of past OR future Camino
I am planning to walk the Camino del Northe this April.
Hi there,

I'm planning on walking the camino del Northe from Irun at the end of march/beginning of april. This is my first time walking any camino. My packing list is almost complete, the only thing I'm not sure about is my sleeping gear. I don't have much money so advising nice but very expansive things won't help me.. Many people have given me advise, but a lot of what is said contradicts each other.

So these are my questions to people who have walked where I am planning to walk:
When it comes to sleepinggear, what kind of sleepingbag do i use? For example, do i get a lightweight speelingback with a comfort temperature rate of +7 with a silk liner for warmth and to avoide bedbugs? Or do i get a more expensive but warmer sleepingbag? What is the temperature rate i should go for when i want to sleep in albuergues? And what rate do i use when i want to sleep outside?

And also, do i get a sleeping mat? I that nessacery for in albuergues? I really like to sleep outside or in unconventional places, but I'm not sure if that would be smart or possible in the time that I'll be walking.

Thanks in advance :)

Perfect memento/gift in a presentation box. Engraving available, 25 character max.
I don't walk the Camino del Norte, but about the same time the Via de la Plata. I was strongly advised to take a sleepingbag with a liner with me. So this is in my backpack, waiting for the start on April 1.

Hey Ad, thanks for your reply. What is the temperature rate of your sleepingbag and what kind of liner will you be using?

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
I own the Nomad sleepingbag for many years, so I have to remember it. Temperature is about -4 C, the filling is 3D Polarsoft Micro. And the liner is silk.
The sleepingbag is 880 gram and the liner is 108 gram.

If you only sleep in albergues, bring a sleeping bag. One that weighs no more than a kilo, less if possible. Summer weight is fine and you can buy some that are reasonably priced.
If you plan at all in sleeping outside, you will need a ground pad, but you do not need one for albergues.
Silk liners do not keep away bedbugs. Nothing does, but your odds of encountering bedbugs is slight. I never have. I would say if you bring a sleeping bag, no need for a liner.
