Time of past OR future Camino
Enjoying the camino since 2009
Hi, I have recently invested in a few bits of updated kit and have some spare which I thought I would offer here before they go on Ebay. Lightweight and affordable stuff for a new or repeat pilgrim, all stuff I would - and have! - taken myself. I am in the UK, take PayPal and give good pilgrim discount!

Sorry, all the stuff has been sold for now and will hopefully be on an adventure this autumn or next year! I will post here if I have more to sell in the future, so if you click 'watch this post' you will be notified if I add anything.

1 Snugpak Travelpak Traveller, the red rectangular twin of the popular khaki Jungle one, good as new.
1 Highland Trekker Ultralight, tiny and light and with centre zip, bought new, washed twice and unused.
1 Mountain Hardwear Lamina 35, bought for colder weather later in the year and also not used
1 Gelert Adventure Bivvy Bag, unopened and unused, for those who want or need to sleep under the stars
1 Lifesystems single bedsheet to protect against mosquitos and bedbugs, unused.

If you are interested in either of these send me a message and I'm sure we can figure something out.

Hi,
Is the Snugpak Traveller still available? If so what price with shipping to UK.

Not an awful lot, as I have deleted the stuff from the original post as it went, but I have rummaged around and found more - large gore-tex gaiters, sleeping bag liners which are almost certainly a silk blend and not real silk, men's walking trousers in a 38 inch waist, some ladies' merino layers and possibly a Helsport rain poncho with closed sides, open arms and room for a backpack ... anything specific you are after?

...and ship it to Santiago for storage. You pick it up once in Santiago. Service offered by Casa Ivar (we use DHL for transportation).

poncho for sure, the gaiters too and liners. Tempted by the walking trousers too but plan mainly to wear shorts and already have a pair of Chandler II waterproofs for an assumed wet Galicia. I do need a backpack, but it's very hard getting sound advice on a pack on a budget in the UK. Most of my purchased gear to replace anything worn (do quite a bit of hill walking in N. Ireland) has been from Regatta.
