Trying to save a little money on some of the items for Camino. Have noticed most silk liners are around $50. Does anyone have any experience with the $10 ones from Viet Nam that are offered on ebay? Camino planned for August/September so only taking liner.

...and ship it to Santiago for storage. You pick it up once in Santiago. Service offered by Casa Ivar (we use DHL for transportation).
I bought one of those and its good. Most silk goods come out of China or Vietnam anyway so you are just cutting out the middleman.

Thank so much for responding. I'm going to get us each one. Starting to plan our Camino and this means more days/money spent on the Camino if I can save some on equipment purchases at home.

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.
I bought silk liners for my daughter and I when we travelled Africa. No problems at all with them, nice to sleep in and cheap

I purchased my first silk liner in Leon from decathlon it was very reasonably priced, I have used it for several caminos and loved it. I have just ordered a second from Vietnam on eBay $20 delivered sounds promising , XL wide model with pillow pocket and double stitching, it is my plan to take both on my next Camino, on colder nights I will double bag. All up weight for two silk liners aprox 300 gram 1/3 my sleeping bag. I will test the warmth of the double bag on the next cold Melbourne autumn night .
