This is one of the pilgrimage routes in my bucket list.
Old camino and Via Francigena friends sent me a link to their Shikoku pilgrimage website.
The parallels to the camino are amazing.
Started in the 8th C.
One needs to walk it to be considered a true 'henro' (pilgrim).
There is a prescribed pilgrim dress code - cloak, wide hat and staff.
You can collect stamps along the way and receive a 'certificate' at the end.
Enjoy!
