Serious Change in Plans - All for the Better!

Time of past OR future Camino
Holy Year from Pamplona 2010, SJPP 2011, Lisbon 2012, Le Puy 2013, Vezelay (partial watch this space!) 2014; 2015 Toulouse-Puenta la Reina (Arles)
I have been planning for months to pick up my last Vezelay Camino from Perigueux and finish it off properly. Enter the wife! Now my wife is a university professor, until now her idea of a good vigorous hike led from the parking lot to the library where she would sit until closing time and they kicked her out. All my experiences and the photographs have finally persuaded her to try a bit-in her own way of course. So in another two weeks or so we will be leaving for Toulouse, renting a car, and heding north for Moissac! The plan is to do Le Puy from Abbaye Saint Pierre in reverse, Moissac-Cele Valley-Rocamadour-Conques-Aubrac-Le Puy by car. With daily short walks through the good parts. So, the tourigrino couple you may meet is my attempt to bring the wife around and maybe next year you will see us out walking for real. Would be happy to meet you all! Bon Camino! Bon Marche! Happy Passover!
Joyeuses Pâques or Feliz Pascua!!!

Train for your next Camino on California's Santa Catalina Island March 16-19
What a wonderful idea! All the best to both of you as travel this lovely area together.

Carpe Diem and Ultreia,

Hi scruffy, I hope your wife takes to the walking with this trip. My wife, who was not a walker, walked with me from Sarria in 2013 and loved it, she is now considering another short Camino later in the year.
Have a great trip.

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.
Just might see you while we are walking the other way Scruffy. We start from Le Puy on the 24th April. I am the guy with the Tilly hat and red pack. I will buy you a glass of wine if we meet up.

Shalom Marbuck!!!
I'm the guy with a tilly hat and a feather stuck through the braid. One good glass of wine deserves another! "Louis, I think this (may be) the beginning of a beautiful friendship"!

In the way of continued seduction: once you have got her comfortable with several day-walks, you could try sending the bags on ahead one day by transport. Is the GR65 marked eastbound? I'm not sure it is marked as well as the west-bound aspect. A good map/GPS might be useful.

3rd Edition. More content, training & pack guides avoid common mistakes, bed bugs etc
