Olá I found a brandnew website in German about the Trilho das Areias / senda litoral (coastal way) from Lisboa - a real coastal way!
Important are the GPS tracks: http://www.hirschler.at/portugal/#63b82570417009553
At Foz de Arelho/Lagoa de Obidos it´s not necessary to walk around the Lagoa. At low tide you can easily walk along the coast line to the other side- barefoot! At high tide the water is sometimes up to your knees, but doable, except in combination with strong westerly winds.
Some canyons are blocked after heavy rainfalls.
