i carried too much kit (duh !)

i walked the vdlp in Sept / Oct for 6 weeks
as a first time camino walker, and not knowing what to expect, i carried gear appropriate for both seasons
so i had a
light sleeping bag + a bag liner (+ 450g)
wind-breaker (+ 150g)
hard-core water jacket (+ 250g)
2 beanies (woolen hat things?) (+ 50g)
3lt camel water carrier (+ 100g)
i packed all my gear into hard-core waterproof bags (+ 600g)
compression pack to compress and waterproof my sleeping bag (+ 150g)
gaiters (+50g)
additional 3 prs liner sox (+ 50g)
uv sun protect arms (+ 25g)
a second fleecy top (+ 150g)
a bigger backpack (40lt) to hold all the extra stuff (+ 300g)
= an additional say 2.5 kgs
