You can get these in any health food shop along the way, but those will be almost exclusively in the bigger towns only. You may have some luck in supermercados in the smaller towns if the supermercado is part of a chain like Dia or Carrefour. You almost certainly will not find either of those products in villages in Spain.
Hope that helps!

never heard of them what are they?

TVP is a protein product made with soy (soja). It is dry and in small crumbs - it's great for replacing meat fillings in stews and soups.

Nutritional yeast is deactivated yeast - great for making vegan "cheese" dishes (e.g., Mac & Cheese, unless you're from Canada, where it's called KD).

Thank you! Quite helpful (and allows me to wrap up writing my Camino Eats for the Solo Vegan cookbook which I'll be providing free to those on the forum that ask).

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
good luck in finding this.whats wrong with ordinary food?

It is ordinary food (particularly for those of us whom are vegan and don't eat meat or meat products, such as cheese). I find that finding vegan meals a bit difficult, and this is a way to save money while eating vegan.

Both of these food items are quite light and not liable to go off. So you could take a few food bags with you so when you need to resupply in the larger towns. You can put anything which is left over in a bag to keep it fresh.
Just an idea :) most of all buen camino x
