Greetings everyone

My first Camino is getting closer, only 4 weeks now.
Its hard to wait, Im so looking forward to walk the Camino del Notre.

Got myself a Garmin Oregon 550.

I hope you can point me in the right direction about a free map for my camino.
I bought a german guidebook over the camino del notre, and it gives access to GPS waypoints for the north rute.
So , I need a map and a pointer to what program to use to get the waypoint into the Oregon 550.

Many greetings
Pawel

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

go to Google and look for a gps tracklog. With an Oregon you don't need waypoints, a continuous track is far better.

peter robbin's site will be a good place to start.

gpsfiledepot.com might have a good base map, but I found an good price for the real garmin micro sd card online.
Sent me a PM if you need details- got to run now

edit- This looks like a good track----just click on "export to Garmin GPS". Put that in your unit, and follow the yellow brick road.

look at it in Google Eath and you'll be up all night.

Here's a map of all of Europe on micro SD, with every ATM, restaurant, motel and many small dirt roads for $79:
