Scallop Shell

Hi there, back in 2003 I found a scallop shell on the beach. My brother-in-law drilled a couple of holes in it then strung it through with black threading cord secured with a sliding knot. I paint clear nail varnish arround the holes for strengthening.

Nice. I still don't have one but hoping to find one on the beaches of Germany since I"m visiting there before going on the Camino.

I...hope they have scallops in Germany.
