Hello all!
In July I will be walking the Camino from Sarria! I am looking for a bag that is quite cheap, and can go as a cabin baggage (Ryanair website : One cabin bag weighing up to 10 kg with maximum dimensions of 55cm x 40cm x 20cm, plus 1 small bag up to 35 x 20 x 20 cms may be carried per passenger*.) Im looking for a bag up to £50 and about 30-35 Litres.
Thanks all!!
Patryk

Patryk,
I walked with a GREGORY pack for the first time last year. It was very comfortable. It is important to have help selecting the right pack so it rests correctly on your body. Be careful about going too cheap. Enjoy!

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.
Welcome Patryk, firstly as you quoted £ you are probably in the UK so there is no REI. I would agree with Barbara get a comfortable reasonable price pack, I also use Gregory but have a look around your local gear store. I would also aim for a 35L minimum. Better to have a little extra space than not.
Buen Camino.

3rd Edition. More content, training & pack guides avoid common mistakes, bed bugs etc
or another outdoorshop since we do not know where OP lives...

London to be precise :D

If you're just walking the last 100km, don't even bother spending money on an expensive backpack, take a simple carry on bag and a daypack small enough to carry water, food, and jacket/rain-gear, have your carryon bag transported for €3 per day, it usually takes 5-7 days to walk the last 100km, the most you would spend on bag transport is €21 for 7 days of walking.

Patryk, greetings from Ireland. Would suggest that you take a trip to Decathlon, they are located two minutes walk from Canada Water underground station. I've bought gear there over the years and they carry a great selection of rucksacks and everything else you would need.
Buen Camino,
Gerard.

The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.

First, 150 pounds is not exactly inexpensive. Second, you will be walking a short distance, so you may not need something that is of uber quality, or uber technical like this one, but you do NEED fit, and you cannot discover what fits you online, only in a shop, and with the bag stuffed to replicate the weight you will be carrying. Once you have identified the suitable bag, look on Ebay or FB, you may be able to find a gently used one.

If you prefer a lighter pack, do check the Osprey Exos38, weighs about 1 kg.
Otherwise, any other similar osprey would be comparable to Gregory packs.
