Santiago to Rome (Part 2)

In Feb-Apr 2019 I walked from Santiago in reverse on the CF, onto the Aragones, and over the Somport Pass into France, and as far as Castres on the Camino d'Arles towards Rome.

Over 5 years ago, where has the time gone?!

Just wondering about going back to Castres and carrying on. I'm older now, not so fit, have slowed down.

But I think I can do it, at least as far as Arles, as there are gites all the way, which is fantastic as I can't afford to stay in hotels in France.

Anybody else walked this recently? Any tips? Should I pre-book the gites in, say, October time?

Thanks for any thoughts you may have. Jill

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.
I did Genova - Arles 2018 and Arles - Puente la Reina 2022. You may look at my blog if you want. I would recommend the miam-miam-dodo
