Anyone know of the fastest way to get to Lisbon from Santiago? Need to go on May 17

Some options

— a bus that goes direct but takes a long time,

— trains with a change in Vigo and maybe Porto(?) or

— flying Santiago-Madrid-Lisbon. I’m not sure any of these meet the definition of “fast”.

Good luck, let us know how it goes!

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.
I have the same need, looked at all three options and chose the plane. I saw this as the most straightforward (only 1 transfer) and convenient...assuming it departs and arrives as scheduled. COVID processes may introduce a wrinkle.

I am also looking for a way to Lisbon on the 17th! I am flying home to the US on May 18th. I haven’t found an easy way. I will actually be in Finistère on the 16th and was hoping to go straight to Lisbon from there. It looks like going back to Santiago gives the quickest option of flying into Lisbon.

Hello!
Good Luck on your Camino Portuguese from Lisbon .. I am walking right now started Lisbon 29th April… it is TOUGH TOUGH TOUGH …possibly my age .. but longer distances…very hard roads .. even the initial cities have cobblestones and the same on sidewalks which has badly effected my feet and my neck …I have done The Frances, Finnistere Muxia, Ingles but this one is different.. ensure you have the Best Walking shoes sticks and a proper loaded backpack … an American who was. “ burning “ the Camino Portuguese with speed enthusiasm and gusto until yesterday morning ..tripped and has fractured his ankle … ( no
Names No Places)… I now understand why 99% Peregrinos start from Porto.,to SdeC
Regardless i wish you WELL God Speed Stay Safe and Bom Cominho🙏
