Santiago and a pilgrim diptych

Too many and too often!
I have any number of reasons to be jealous of my friend Johnnie Walker - not least that he now lives for most of the year in Santiago. John has kindly given me permission to share something here. A piece of art commissioned from our own @Harington which he has just received and which now hangs in the stairway of his Santiago home. A large piece in two panels with each panel measuring 100 x 80 cm. Mary has spoken of some of the symbolism involved - including an allusion to church stained glass windows and a deliberate nod towards Michelangelo in the saint's gesture. A dramatic thing to encounter when you come home each day!

I know that quite a number of the members of this forum have personally created artworks inspired by their own Caminos. I wonder how many others feel they have lacked the skills to do justice to their experience and have instead commissioned an artist to make a particular piece? And might they be willing to share what they received?
