One of the more curious in MY stocking was a do-it-yourself chorizo making kit - what can I say, my daughter is weirder than her father.

Whist a friend received this for Christmas but doubts she'd ever have the nerve to use it. for one thing "carrying around a bottle of my own, warm urine is a bit off putting . . . "

My gosh, what I would have given for one of these a few years back. Seven months pregnant, camping in Jasper National Park in the Rockies end of September and having to exit a warm sleeping bag to make a night time trek in sub-zero temperatures..........:eek:

From some posts made in the last few days in a couple of other threads:

Peg and I have a number of plush animals as souvenirs of trips. Only about half were bought on the trip itself. I found this guy two and a half years late. Peg got it for Christmas.

We didn't see any live ones on camino but we sure enjoyed the dead ones we came upon.

Once Peg gave me some fossilized dinosaur dung for Christmas.
 
The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
