Hello everyone, I hope you are well!

I did the Camino Ingles last year and it was an amazing spiritual experience.
This year, with many personal changes coming up, i feel the need to walk for a few days only to think and would like to a part of the Camino.
As I live in Bordeaux, i thought of going to Saint Jean Pied de Port and do the part only to Roncevaux.

However I am planning on going beginning of December.
Did anyone do this part during this time?
Can you tell me what to expect? How many days does it usually take?

I would appreciate any information, and thank you for your time,

Saïd

Many people walk from SJPdP to Roncesvalles in one day, but you can divide it in two by spending the night in Valcarlos.

Transport luggage-passengers.
From airports to SJPP
Luggage from SJPP to Roncevalles
napoleon route is closed, so it's up through valcarlos. pretty tough to get from sjppdp to roncesvalles in one day, probably want to overnight in valcarlos.

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

€46,-
Thought the Valcarlos route was simply stunning. The elevation gain, though, comes on day 2. Anyway you cut it...there's no avoiding the climb to Roncesvalles.
