Camino Portoguese (2018)
Hello fellow humans!
Im going to walk the camino portuguese from Tui to Santiago and im wondering if anyone can tell me about something i need to see along the road?
Also interested in some experiences with the youth hostels along the way
Best regards, Benjamin

Holoholo automatically captures your footpaths, places, photos, and journals.
There is plenty to see in the way of scenery and history. If you purchase a guidebook, it will have some of the historical information.

The accommodations are not really youth hostels; they are dormitory facilities of varying quality that cater to pilgrims of all ages. Fire stations used to open their doors to pilgrims, but the crush of walkers has caused some to close their doors during the busy season. Hotels, pensions, and casa rurales are also available at a somewhat higher cost. There are websites that will show you the places that are available. Have fun!!

HI, benjinorway. I walked that route a few years ago, from Porto actually. If you have found this forum, you can have a wee look and you will find the Portuguese route section where there is a lot of information. The previous reply also tells you there are other websites, and indeed there are, so get clicking! Now: you are going to be the one to discover what you need to see! And then you can share your discoveries one the forum, everyone will be delighted to learn from you.Buen camino, have a wonderful journey.

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.
One of the best investments you could make in your camino would be a Brierley guidebook. Even though you are walking a relatively well trod path, his guides give you a good perspective. There are also a few on the web or apps. Either way you want to go, get a guide book to just help you put things into context.
