Ronceveaux to Paris?

This September I'm planning to pick up the Le Puy route in Cahors, where I stopped last year. Crossing the Pyrenees while I'm in "walking shape" at the end of this year's walk seems a good idea. I plan on making one night in SJPP and one night in Orisson. What's the best strategy for getting from Ronceveaux back to Paris? Should I stay the night in Ronce or take a taxi back to SJPP? What's the outbound connection from SJPP northward like in the morning?

You could take a morning train from Saint Jean Pied de Port to Bayonne and pick up the TGV to Paris/Montparnasse from there. Check http://www.voyages-sncf.com for schedules. The exact schedule for each month is generally posted three months in advance, but generally the times never change from one month to another. Buen Camino! MSPath
