Rome to Jerusalem Pilgrimage - AUDIO BOOK

One of the biggest requests I have had for my book WALKING FOR PEACE, AN INNER JOURNEY is to record it as an audio book. Thanks to COVID, I have had ample time to do so!

The book is the memoir of my 5000-km, 13-month pilgrimage from Rome to Jerusalem, walking with Alberto Agraso.

I have been recording each chapter, and posting it for free on YouTube.

I am near the end of the book now, entering Syria.

Thank you so much for this I am really enjoying your audio version. I've now ordered the paperback because I'd like to own this book. So far this book is really reaching right into me. Today the weather was wet and windy so I popped in my earphones and set off for a walk whilst listening. I did not want to stop my walk!

I don't usually walk with earphones. On the Camino I often found myself singing to myself though I rarely remember words. If I concentrated on what I was singing and figured out what the song was it would always be something highly relevant to my inner journey. A Camino gift; always delightful and often amusing when I was physically struggling. Since lockdown I have tried to keep walking but my heart was not much engaged and I was very fed up walking locally again and again. I signed up for a virtual Camino Frances and it has certainly helped to reinvigorate my walking. Last week I even found myself singing one day but just could not remember the words so couldn't access what the message to myself was. I had rather forgotten about this but while listening to your book today I reached the part where you are visiting the tomb of St Francis. You whisper the prayer and instantly I knew - that was what I'd been singing! I hadn't even known that was the St Francis prayer. Such beautiful words. I will try to be guided by these words. Thank you for gifting them to me.
