And I cannot stop wondering that somewhere someone misses this man ....if that makes sense? Really makes you think what happened in this man's life?

Apparently the police went out of their way of duty to find some relatives that were interested in him - but to no avail. Perhaps he was a loner and didn't want to have relatives/relations (wild guess here!). Perhaps he is missed but those people accept that he didn't want to attach himself to anybody? Like @Wokabaut_Meri said: he is/was one of us, a pilgrim. He has finished his earthly pilgrimage and, as I might add, is now on a far more exciting pilgrimage. Buen Camino amigo peregrino, SY

I lit a candle and said a prayer for him at St James on Church James street-a step or two away from the site of the old St James Gate where medieval Irish pilgrims used to congregate before setting off on their pilgrimage.
