Ride from Compostela to Mabella (Merida) offered

Incidentally (and I had to smile when I read Gareth´s comments about making plans and God laughing), despite the fact that I was supposed to fly to Santiago and back, the sudden disappearance of my passport/redidencia the night before I wa due to fly necessitated that I drive to Santiago...overnight....1150 kms in 14 hours with 4 hours sleep in the car and two very red eyes! Believe me, there are other forms of Pilgrimage!
Anyway, am driving back to the coast on Monday 7th, and will likely break at Merida not wanting to break my own record. Any pilgrim in Santiago wanting a ride to the south can contact me at the Alameda the number of which I have given elsewhere.

Re: Ride from Compostela to Marbella (Merida) offered

Offer rescinded as am back now, through floods and ferias and fog!
But do come down to visit the Costa del Sol...it's not all golf courses and gritty beaches! Some lovely spots inland a bit.
