We have been working out our stages for the Camino del Mar-Camino Inglés and looking at both distances and accomodation. There is no infrastructure that we can see until one reaches Xubia (Neda/Narón) and the Camino Inglés. However there is private accomodation most of the way and the FEVE in case of need, although to-ing and fro-ing would depend on train times. So our stages look like this at present:-
Ribadeo to Reinante
Reinante to Barreiros
Barreiros to Foz
Foz to Burela
Burela to Cervo
Cervo to Xove
Xove to Esteiro/Viveiro ?
Viveiro probably FEVE to Ortegueira
Ortegueira to near Ponte Mera or
FEVE to Ponte Mera and walk to San Andrés de Teixido
Return to near Ponte Mera (taxi?)
FEVE to Xubia as there is no accomodation after Ponte Mera until well past San Andrés and no food either beyond San Andres. The distance involved is too far so that seems the best option, at least at present.
Then:-
Neda/Narón (which gives us our unbroken 100kms+) to Santiago by slow stages.
There are several places we want to take a day stop over to see around, so this will be a slow Camino
