Can anyone recommend a good restaurant between Santo Domingo de la Calzada and Belorado?

Last year (or 2022) I had lunch in El Chocolatero, but found it mediocre.

Casa Leóon has very mixed reports on Tripadvisor.

Thanks in advance for your tips!

3rd Edition. More content, training & pack guides avoid common mistakes, bed bugs etc
Can remember a really good ensalada mixta in the Restaurante Leon, in Villamayor del Rio, several years back.....

Very light, comfortable and compressible poncho. Specially designed for protection against water for any activity.

Our Atmospheric H30 poncho offers lightness and waterproofness. Easily compressible and made with our Waterproof fabric, its heat-sealed interior seams guarantee its waterproofness. Includes carrying bag.

€60,-
The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.
It's not much, but Albergue Parada Viloria in Viloria de Rioja makes some simple eggs and bocadillos during the day, really delicious, all donativo - a special place and hospitaleros worth supporting!

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
Thank you all for your suggestions and comments! I think I will try Casa León this time, even though I read that he does not welcome guests with rucksacks.

Godgle has Casa Leon as permanently closed. Otherwise most of the complaints on tripeadvertiser date from 5 or 6 years ago. Just put your rucksack down at the first opportunity. Out of the way of incoming or exiting customers. And definitely don’t do what I saw one prat do - put their rucksack on a chair at a table.

It’s only 22km to Belorado. I think I could make that in time for lunch

Get a spanish phone number with Airalo. eSim, so no physical SIM card. Easy to use app to add more funds if needed.
I believe we ate at the Restaurante Etoile on the Plaza Mayor. It had amazing salads with vegetables that we had been longing for since St. Jean.
