Raindrops

In the Naked light i saw
10.000 pilgrims... maybe more
Silent walking,silent prayer
All in hopes of getting there.

The unheld raindrops
Felt the touch at last
And to this they held fast
Until the day they saw
A speckled city above the draw

Pilgrims
Like raindrops
Some are lucky to be caught
And held by something greater
Some..sparkle,added by the act.

As if love had held them...
Among all the other drops
These few... caught, held and tasted lips.,kissed by eternity
And now walk along the cobblestone

Toward home.

Few are caught
Fewer taste the longing kiss of joy
Fewest are those that complete the journey.

You
The pilgrims
The few we see under the lamp
Passing through
Falling
Toward Santiago

My Prayer for all the Pilgrims is that even if you never make it to Santiago, is that you remember that fleeting moment of lightness
And know that something greater held you for a moment
And that you became greater
In that moment
And you will forever be greater for it.

But nevertheless Blessed for the calling.

Pilgrim on the way.
Know that the light you carry
Stays with you
After the fall...
