Time of past OR future Camino
Switzerland Geneva, right the the end.
I walk tomorrow
Hay there guys, I haven't really prepared much for this cause I was backpacking, and was bored so decided this would be a good idea. I did start in Geneva but got lost on the mountain for 20 hour over night. I'm in lyon now recovering.
And I hit le puy tomorrow.
So need some answers.
Can I find a guide book easy in le puy?
Do many bellow 30s do this aswell?
Is there a directions map I can buy?
I dnt wona be lost again
And is it easy to camp out alot along the trail?
Sorry if silly questions, jumped in to this trail with no prep

Spending 20 hours on a mountain does not sound like much fun. I hope you are OK and recovering well.

There are a number of guidebooks for the Le Puy route. I don't know this for a fact, but I assume that they would be on sale somewhere in Le Puy. You could start with the Tourist Office.

The route is signposted very well, so while I would never say it is impossible to get lost, it is fairly easy to follow. There will also likely be a reasonable number of people starting out from Le Puy with you, so you will not be out there all alone. From my experience, the numbers tapered off after Conques, but there were still others on the trail all the way to SJPdP. Bon Chemin!

The ffrp guide ( inFrench) has real topomaps and is easy to find in book stores and tabacs. Discrete camping should be easy to do. All ages, but many older retired French people. They are harmless.

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

Yes, but not necessarily at the same time.

And, yes, I don't see why not.

Lots of guidebook choices in shop in cathedral.
Very easy to find your way from Le Puy. So well signposted you don't even need a map. There are campsites on and off and some gites let you put tent up in garden. Not so many young people...
