Question about Movistar store hours

I have spent a fair amount of time unsuccessfully looking on the web for information about the hours of operation of the Movistar store (specifically in Sevilla, but it may be that the hours are standardized nationwide). Since I am now scheduled to arrive in Sevilla on a Sunday, I'm going to have to wait till Monday to get a card for my phone, and wonder how early I'll be able to leave Sevilla to walk.

Does anyone know when the Movistar stores open in the mornings in Sevilla?

Thanks, Laurie

Movistar phone stores are usually independently operated. Which means they open at the whim of the person who runs it.

One option you may try is contacting Jeremy at OnSpanishTime, (http://www.onspanishtime.com/) a Madrid-based expat-operated cell phone rental and sales outfit that is one of my standbys. I don´t get a kickback from him, but can recommend him as his prices are very competitive, he is a native English-speaker, and he can get you your SIM card and phone no., or whatever it is you order, in advance of your trip, or ship it to your hotel so it is waiting for you when you arrive.

You can also get Movistar SIMs, credits, etc. at general telephone stores or big hipermarkets like Carrefour... none of which are open on Sundays. But at least you have another option.

Buen suerte. Hope we see you this time around!
