Public holidays Galicia 17, 18 May 2023

Just a heads up for anyone in or coming to Santiago that today is Galician Literature Day, a public holiday and tomorrow Ascension, also a public holiday in Santiago. So shops will be shut ( bars, restaurants and probably tourist shops open). My albergue thought that museums would be open. And there are various festivities around town.
But bang goes my post-Camino new wardrobe!

We were in Finesterre hoping to catch a bus to Muxia. Unfortunately some local buses were cancelled bec of pub holiday. Something else to watch for.
