Hi everyone,
Did anyone walk the Primitivo in late october, early november?
Can you share your experience with the weather in the mountains? How many other pilgrims can I expect?
I was planning on switching from the Francés, but I'm getting a little concerned...

Thank you!

Hey!

Me and my friend are walking the deck norte from irun to Bilbao the Starting the primitivo on the 24th of October!

Also been doing some research on this, as far as I’m aware it’s gonna be wet haha but sure! We’re not made out of sugar!

we walked across England last September and it rained and rained and rained and it was very rugged terrain so I’m guessing the primitivo will be similar, there’s plenty of places to stay in hotels and stuff if the allergies are cloaed, just do a bit of planning ahead

We’re bringing camping stuff incase of emergency also

Hopefully you decide to take the plunge and we’ll see you on the trail!! 🥾

I think I will also walk Camino Primitivo or Frances from 14 Oct.

I'm also curious about this. Did you hear anything more?

I would be tempted to do the Portuguese as it's a similar time frame.

The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.
