I walked the Frances in 2012 and the Norte/Frances in 2014 and planning the Portuguese in Sept or Oct of this year. I wonder if anyone has walked from Porto on the center route and then crossed over to the coast in Spain and walked first to Muxia and then to SDC.

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.
From Padron on the Camino Portugues, you can make your own route toward Fisterra. If you want albergue support, though, you will be better off going all the way to Santiago before heading for the coast. There is not a camino for the route your are contemplating, so takes maps or use Google Maps.

I am also walking from Porto to Camino Santiago. Then Muxia. If you happen to know how long it will take and how the terrain is from, Porto to Camino, please share with this forum. I am leaving San Francisco July 4, 2016.

Thank you all for sharing.

The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.
From Porto to Santiago 10 days. Santiago to Finnistera 3-4 days, Finnistera to Muxia 1 day
Buen Camino

We did our Frances route in Sept 2015 and in September 2016 want to do the Porto to Muxia, then to Santiago, as you indicated. Looking forward to hearing more of what you plan.

Olá, I carefully watch several german forums and portuguese forums as well about that problem: getting first to Murxia and then to Santiago. There aren´t any posts for this way. You have to make your own route, because there isn´t any infrastructure for pilgrims.

Good luck and buen camino, Rainer
