Please no "all caps" or colored text in post or thread title

Dear all,

I just wanted to encourage everyone to try and stay away from writing entire posts (or thread titles) in "ALL CAPS" and also to not change your text color to any other color than black. I know that some of you like to change the text color, but I have heard from color blind members that have problems reading this text. Black text on white background is always best.

Regarding writing in all uppercase letters (All caps). On the internet, this is considered screaming... so, lower case text is more polite and easier to read as well.

No, that is my problem... the text editor that comes with the forum is "all or nothing"...

Try telling that to my Optometrist! I am blind in one eye and not so great with the other. However I have many pedants amongst my friends who keep me on my toes. I would not normally say anything as I make more than enough typos myself but I simply couldn't resist this one. Sorry Ivar mate.

I am glad Loving Kindness got her posts in before the colour was disabled.

Edit. OK sorry it was a little dig but one of the stand features of her blog after the descriptions, photos etc etc was her use of colour, one of the main examples is the day she crossed over into France.
