Find and pharmacie and ask for the same medicine? They are very helpful in France.

You could:
1) Take a rest day. Assuming you are not proficient in French, ask your gite host to arrange a taxi for the day (negotiate a flat rate for the day). Travel to Figeac, pick up your medicine, and return to your starting point. Possible cost: 50-60 euros and half a day

2) Take a rest day. Take the pilgrim baggage transport to Figeac, pick up your medicine, and take a taxi back to your starting point. Possible cost: 20-30 euros and an entire day

3) See if a local pharmacy will fill the prescription.

Talk to your gite host or the local tourist info office; they are probably your very best points of contact for the local resources available.

Bon chemin!
