Very good news for the lack of beds but I actually enjoyed sleeping in the old fishing warehouse by the port
I stayed there one January and found it very cold and a bit cheerless. The building has also been subject to flooding in the past. A new location might be more manageable.
 
Eight months seems a bit ambitious, but I hope that it will work out and be ready for pilgrims next spring.
Couldn't agree more, but if what happened with the new Albergue in Ferrol is anything to go by we'll be extremely lucky if it's open mid-summer.
Something to look forward to though!

Of course, another option in/ near to Bruma would also be wonderful, dare I say it, perhaps even better....
