Hello- I've recently learned that apparently plans are afoot to build a new museum in the Urdaibai Bioshphere Reserve in Spain. There is a petition available to sign asking the Salomon R. Guggenheim Foundation to step back from what would amount to the destruction of this area. Is it ok to post the petition on the forum? Thank you.

3rd Edition. More content, training & pack guides avoid common mistakes, bed bugs etc
I have no idea what the protocol on petitions is. However, as someone who has spent time in Urdaibai for the last 10+ years it would be a very sad thing to happen. The area is already at capacity with it's inhabitants and seasonal tourism without adding further thousands of people to this. It would be crazy and unsustainable. There is a massive movement against this already and one can only hope that common sense and care for our natural world prevails.

It sounds as though the issue is a known one.
Can a moderator weigh in on whether I can post a link to a petition?

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.
