Ferrol - Hotel Suizo:-
Nice hotel, great size room and ensuite with a nice continental breakfast.
Staff were nice and friendly and spoke English also stamped our passport for us.
Cash machine outside and supermarket directly facing.
Close to Camino start at the port and not far from tourist office.
Would recommend here.
Pontedeume - Bar Luis :-
Cheap and cheerful. Decent room with ensuite bathroom.
Nice friendly owners who do not speak English but are use to communicating with no Spanish speakers so no issues understanding each other.
Located handily close to bridge, shops, chemist and start line for next day.
We were too tired to try and food/drink but it is there if required.
Would recommend here.
Betanzos - Alburgue :-
Located right in centre close to the beautiful church, with bars and restaurants all around.
The alburgue is a newly built and everything is clean and fresh with a great kitchen and dining area. Also has washing/drying facilities for clothes. Bathrooms with showers all modern and fresh.
Was very cheap at €6 and am guessing one of the better alburgue on the camino.

Bruma - Meson Novo :-
Our stay here for two nights as we split the Bruma stay was one of the highlights of our trip. The owners are just awesome, they go out of their way to make your stay as good as possible and look after you very well.
The home cooked food was great (and lots of it) and very welcomed at the end of each day. When we returned from the Bar Julia - Bruma stage and looking a bit tired the lady brought us over some food she had prepared and didn't charge us for it. That is the type of people they are.
Rooms are very spacious with nice en suite bathrooms.
Another nice touch was when we left to do the Bar Julia- Bruma walk we had left our washing from day before to dry in room but would never have dried as it was pouring outside. When we returned it had been tumble dried and was folded neatly in our rooms for us.
Also the son Antonio collected us from Bar Julia on the first day and dropped us back on day two for our walk and they didn't charge us for this either.
We chose to stay here from recommendations on the forum and so glad we did.
Highly recommend here, should be a must stay on Camino Ingles:
Siguiero - Hostal Miras :-
Located right in centre of Siguiero with a built in bar/restaurant.
Unfortunately this was by far our worse accomodation on the Camino.
Staff were rude and just looked in a bad mood all day. Food was not great either.
Rooms were small with no ensuite so shared bathrooms and everything just looking dirty, with quite a few damp patches.
Worse thing for us was the noise, walls/doors must have been very thin as there was a huge amount of noise from other rooms and even more so from the road, it was just constant traffic driving past all night.
Neither of us got much sleep or enjoued our stay.

Santiago - Hortas P.R. :-
Located just a few hundreds yards from Cathederal so very handy.
Accomodation was excellent, fully modernised building, large rooms, great modern en suite bathroom.
They also have a nice 'beer' garden seating area out the back.
We had the top room and our sky light looked out onto the Cathederal.
Staff were very friendly and helpful and spoke English, plus ordered a taxi for us when we were leaving and made sure to take our bags off us and carry to taxi.
