Hi,
We are about to arrive in Geneva to start our Via Gebennensis. (The Geneva Way) I believe there is a small bookshop where the "yellow" guide can be purchased, does anybody know where we can purchase our Compostela certificates from in Geneva.

The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.

The Compostela certificate is only given out in Santiago by the cathedral's pilgrim office on completion of your pilgrimage. I think you probably mean a credencial or carnet du pèlerin - sometimes called a 'pilgrim passport'.

Apparently there is pilgrim accommodation near the cathedral in Geneva at 10 Euro per night???
Perhaps check with the tourist office...

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

€46,-
The little Notre Dame church was open when I set off on a Sunday pm. They had pilgrims passports there.
They have a website and long opening hours, see website for details.

Hello, does anyone know if the passport can be found elsewhere in Switzerland, like Konstance or Zurich? For one who would like to do the Via Jacobi.

FYI: pilgrims reported last year that credenciales could be purchased at the tourist office in Geneva (chf 10).

The main TO is in the main train station (called Cornavin), on platform 7, on first floor.
There is a summer kiosk near jet d'eau and there was a summer kiosk on the lake shore, on the route into city, shortly before reaching the first bridge across the river. Not sure if these also stock credenciales.

Train for your next Camino on California's Santa Catalina Island March 16-19
