Thank you so much for making this available to us. I read the article and wondered at the comment that there are only 3 albergues on the Portugues. Is there another term for the places at which pilgrims would usually stay? A friend and I plan to start in Porto, in June. The Brierley Guide seems to indicate at least 1 albergue per stage between Porto and Santiago.

I think they mean on the Portugues side of the trail. Once you reach Galicia there are more albergues on that route.
