I have just heard of this broadcast from BBC world service, still available. Title is Heart and Soul: Pilgrim Paths in Ireland. I have not listened to it, but have read a review in the Tablet magazine. I will download it and listen at my leisure...
Later: Yes. It speaks indeed of what pilgrimage is, and what it means to some of the people in the broadcast. I enjoyed listening to it.

I too heard this podcast at 4:00 am, awake, thinking of my first Camino starting on September 13th! The odds of me being awake to hear that are pretty high, so I took it be a sign of encouragement. The serendipitous events that have happened in the last year and a half since making my decision have been incredulous....I have come to believe the Camino is calling.....
