Time of past OR future Camino
Camino Portuguese - Porto to Santiago, (2014)
Camino Frances - SJPP to Santiago (2015)
We walked the Camino from St Jean to Santiago in 2015 (May to July). We stayed in private accommodation the whole way, booking ahead by 2-3 days and getting our luggage forwarded by Jacotrans.
We had a ball and everything exceeded our expectations.

We miss the Camino & if we were 20 years younger, would walk it again.

Thought I would share my spreadsheet with anyone interested. Hopefully the link will work.

Hi, yellowshoes,

Thanks for sharing that document, because I know there are many who prefer that option. My only quarrel with what you write is with your statement "if we were 20 years younger we would walk again." You are only one year older than when you walked it, so there's no need to be 20 years younger. I say give it a go again, but this is coming from a fanatic who has walked almost every year since she turned 50, which was 15 years ago!

The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.
Thanks Peregrina 2000. Unfortunately we have plans to do many other things - walking Hadrians Wall, Iceland, riding bikes down the Danube Path from Germany to Hungry amoungst many other items on the bucket list. Our time will run out before we finish our bucket list :(

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.
The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.
Most Canadians would be hard pressed given the price range; as of yesterday our shrinking dollar sank to 0.68. 'They' expect it to slide even further. Oh dear....
There are many 'cashed up' baby boomers that would like to do the Camino in a little bit of comfort or style. Especially Australians.
Better to do it this way than not at all.
Our dollar is also shrinking, glad we did it last year.
